Alghero: horseback riding for experts in Porto Ferro and Lake Baratz

IMPORTANT

• The length of the route is approximately 12 km.
• The maximum weight allowed per person is 79 kg.
• This experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
• On this walk, it is essential to know how to handle the horse in all three gaits: stride, trot and gallop.

PROGRAMME

• Before starting the hike, there is a short briefing to assess the participants' riding experience.
• The route starts in the forest and leads to the scenic Cala Bantine Sale.
• It continues along the Porto Conte Park path, crossing the dunes that flank the Porto Ferro beach. 
  Here, if sea conditions permit, it will be possible to enter the water.
• The excursion continues towards the Torre Bianca, offering a splendid view of the surrounding landscape.
• The return trip will take place via the paths of the Lake Baratz protected area, following the path along the shoreline.

AVAILABLE TIMES

The experience is available at the following times:

• April to September at 7:00 a.m.
• October at 8:00 a.m.
• November to March at 9:00 a.m.                          

Depending on the weather, the timetable may be subject to slight variations, in which case you will be promptly informed at least one day before the excursion.

TRANSFER

A return transfer service is available from Alghero to the riding school at a cost of €66 for 1 to 4 people, bookable as an extra. After booking, contact our guide at the telephone number on the Voucher to make the best arrangements for the meeting time and place.
