Come and get to know the Nuraghe Seruci in Gonnesa, in south-western Sardinia, to live an experience between history and traditions, which are still the fulcrum of this land! You will visit one of the most representative archaeological sites of the nuragic civilization, which is located in a strategic position. Do you know the function of the nuraghi, and did you know that to date about 7000 have been discovered? It is estimated that there are still many to be brought back to light! Our expert guide will be able to tell you many curiosities and get you passionate about this ancient civilization and its ways of life. At the end of this excursion, you will be offered a nice aperitif of typical Sardinian products, a delight for your palate, directly in a suggestive location!

NURAGHE SERUCI
The nuraghe Seruci is located about 3 kilometers from Gonnesa, in a strategic position on top of a low hill, in control of the pass between the chain of Iglesiente, the sea and Sulcis. From the Nuraghe Seruci it is possible to observe the entire surrounding area, including a wide stretch of coast with a splendid landscape. The site of about 6 hectares consists of a complex nuraghe polylobato with false-vaulted towers (tholos) and an extensive village consisting of over one hundred huts. Its position in the territory, close to the coast, rich in metalliferous minerals, has allowed it an important strategic importance in the XI century B.C. epoch of the maximum expansion of the site in the Bronze Final.

The aperitif will be served at the archaeological site and includes: 1 glass of wine with carasau bread, cheese, sausage and olives.

The excursion is available in two times:

- From June to August at 7.00pm
- From September to October at 6.00pm
