Calasetta: RIB hire

IMPORTANT

• This experience is not suitable for pregnant women and people with psychomotor disabilities.
• You must show identification to complete the rental agreement.
• You are not allowed to bring spearfishing equipment (rifles) and fishing rods on board.
• Return of the dinghy must be done no later than 6:00 pm.

Before departure, you will sign the rental agreement and pay the security deposit. Then you will be given a logbook containing some useful information and contacts in case of need, maps of San Pietro Island, Sant'Antioco Island, and dinghy documents. You will be given possible itineraries based on weather conditions, especially wind, distances to be maintained from beaches and coastlines, operation of the boat, engine and equipment on board with maneuvering simulation.

POSSIBLE ITINERARIES

There are 3 permitted itineraries and depending on the marine weather conditions you will be advised on the most appropriate one among:

• San Pietro island and Carloforte: the most popular and usable depending on the wind;
• Island of Sant'Antioco: from the beaches of the municipality of Calasetta, up to the beaches present on the southeast side of the island;
• Masua and Pan Di Zucchero.

FUEL

Fuel consumption is excluded from the price. Refueling of the vessel must be returned with a full tank to be filled at the gas station in the port at the end of the excursion. The final cost of fuel varies depending on several factors including route taken, speed sustained and number of people on board and can range between €20 and €60.

DEPOSIT

The rental deposit, to be paid on site in cash or by pre-authorization on a credit card before the start of the experience, is 200€, which will be returned when the vehicle is handed over if it is returned in the same state in which it was rented.
