Description

Live a unique experience in the heart of Cagliari, in southern Sardinia, participating in a primitive ceramics workshop. 
In a cosy historic house in the Castello district, you will discover the millenary practices of the pre Nuragic peoples and have the opportunity to make a bowl using the ancient technique of clay manipulation. During the workshop, there will be a pleasant break with home-made herbal teas and infusions of wild herbs to relax and immerse yourself even more in the colours and flavours of the island.
Discover a unique opportunity to get in touch with the ancient culture of Sardinia, combining history and creativity in an authentic experience.

IMPORTANT

  • It is recommended to wear clothing that can get dirty or is easily washable.

PROGRAMME

  • Welcome and short introduction on pre-Nuragic primitive pottery, with an explanation of its origins and working techniques.
  • Creation of the clay bowl using primitive pre-Nuragic techniques.
  • During the workshop, there will be a break in which tea and herbal teas prepared with local herbs will be served, accompanied by a selection of traditional Sardinian sweets.
