Discover the San Benedetto Market with an expert on Sardinian cuisine and dishes and then cook a typical Sardinian lunch. Founded in 1957 and with its 8,000 square metres of exhibition space, the Cagliari market is one of the largest in Italy. The ground floor is entirely dedicated to the sale of fish, while on the upper floor are the fruit and vegetable, meat, cheese, and charcuterie departments. During this experiential tour you will choose together with your guide the fresh ingredients with which to prepare a tasty fresh handmade pasta (ravioli) served with tomato sauce to end a morning of traditional Sardinian flavors and fragrances.
No cooking experience is required, sardinian fresh pasta will be prepared together involving all participants.
Fresh pasta will also be prepared during the experience, with the typical ricotta and spinach filling, which may vary and will be chosen according to seasonality, guest preferences and market availability.
Lunch includes a main course and an appetizer and will take place at a location within a 5-minute walk of the market.
