Visit an oil mill in the Nuoro area with oil tasting

Children under 9 years old can participate in the experience free of charge.

PROGRAM

• Visit to the olive grove where the physiological characteristics of olive trees and the history of the olive tree in the Mediterranean will be explained, learning about its role.
• Visit to the oil mill where the stages of olive processing and how extraction takes place will be explained, with a view to the circular economy.
• Guided oil tasting where you will learn to recognize EVO oil through the senses of taste and smell.
• Convivial moment where some traditional foods enhanced by extra virgin olive oil will be tasted.

TASTING

The guided tasting takes place outdoors and includes various types of EVO oil. Then the following foods will be tasted in combination with the extra virgin olive oil: bread, seasonal fruits and vegetables, potatoes, culurgiones or coccoi prenas, casu ascedu, and desserts.
Gluten free and vegan solutions are available, with prior notification to the number on the reservation voucher at least two days before the experience.

ANIMALS

Animals are allowed on a leash, provided they are of a docile disposition, both outside and inside the facility, with the exception of processing rooms or where food is handled.
