Live this wonderful experience and explore the hinterland of Alghero by four-wheel drive. Accompanied by experienced and local guides, you will venture on back roads used by the local shepherds. You will observe plants and trees and get to know many curiosities about their traditional and popular uses in Sardinia. You will have the opportunity to meet and admire wild animals, and for this reason there will never be a lack of binoculars available for you and many stories that will lead you to deepen some cultural and historical aspects of our island. In fact, you will visit a nuragic village and immerse yourself in the mystery and uniqueness of the nuragic civilization that has populated Sardinia. With a little luck, you will finally have the chance to observe the Griffin, a majestic vulture typical of the area. During the return you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea along a scenic road. Before arriving in Alghero, there will be time for well-deserved relaxation near a beach and an excellent tasting to toast to this special day!
There is no standard itinerary on this excursion. We will move on secondary roads between properties of shepherds, between the hinterland and the coastal area of Alghero and Bosa. A naturalistic area of high value identified as a SCI site (Site of Community Importance).
The tour always includes a stop at the archaeological site of Nuraghe Appiu. This site is one of the largest on the island, consisting of about 200 huts and placed on top of a plateau in a dominant position over the entire coastal area
The aperitif served during the experience includes a tasting of Sardinian sausage, Pecorino cheese, Carasau and Guttiau bread (typical Sardinian breads), Sardinian and local white, red and sparkling wine.
