Cagliari: kayak excursion

During the excursion you can usually observe:

• Several species of birds, such as royal and common seagulls, Marangoni with tufts; more rarely Egrets, Kingfishers, Magpies
• Dolphins
• Octopus, lips, mullets, bream, looks and starfish (for those who want to snorkel)

IMPORTANT

• This experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
• About 200 meters from the meeting place, you can find free public toilets and dining options.

ITINERARY

The route is about 7 km.

The itinerary includes:

• Short lesson and equipment distribution
• Departure by kayak with short transit in front of Poetto Beach
• Stop about 15 minutes in the area of Gianfranco Pools, with the possibility of snorkeling
• Transit in front of the famous Grotta dei Colombi
• Stop about 15 minutes in Cala Fighera, with the possibility of snorkeling
• Passage in front of: Capo Sant'Elia, Grotta del Cavallino (where you can enter according to the weather conditions of the day), old tuff quarry, under the lighthouse of Capo San'Elia
• Stop on the ground about 30 minutes in the beach of Calamosca, with the possibility of snorkeling (there is a snack bar and bathrooms) 
• Return navigation to the starting point, with transit in front of the characteristic rocks of Crocodile and Mushroom

The only stop on the beach will be in Calamosca, as the beach ordinance issued by the Captaincy Office does not allow to land in the previous stretch of coast.

The experience is available at the following times:

• From 15 September to 15 May at 09:00 a.m.
• From 16 May to 14 September at 08:30 a.m.
