One week Surf Camp in Buggerru

WEATHER

If the weather conditions prevent the regular two hours of lessons, the lessons will be recovered on the following days or replaced with alternative activities, such as: rafting, snorkeling, SUP, trekking, canoeing.

INSTRUCTOR

Your instructor will be Simone: born in 1979 and raised in Buggerru, he is responsible for the structure. He began surfing in 1993, and competing in competitions in 1998. In 2000 he began his career as an instructor, taking part in various internships with Peter Cook and Marco Sconde and working at schools in Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. He is currently an instructor ISA level 2, as well as a deep connoisseur of the territories of south-west Sardinia.

SURF HOUSE

The Surf House is located in the center of Buggerru, a former mining village located between Capo Pecora and the fine sandy beaches of Portixeddu and San Nicoló. The small port is overlooked by the exit of the Henry Tunnel, formerly used to transport minerals extracted from the nearby mine. The structure, which houses a real surf school, has large rooms in which you can breathe a familiar and welcoming atmosphere, such as the TV room and the garden.

DINNER

There is no common kitchen, but there is the possibility of having the dinner package from Sunday to Thursday for 100€ (on Fridays and Saturdays the kitchen is closed). It is not possible to request less than 5 dinners.
If you want to add the dinner package, you will have to contact the guide at the phone number on the voucher to request it; payment will be made on-site.

SURF CAMP PRICE LIST

The price of the Surf Camp for a week varies depending on the season and the choice of room to stay
In the structure, there are: 2 doubles, 1 triple, 2 quadruples

High season (from 15 June to 31 August)

• Quadruple room: 370 €
• Triple room: 398 €
• Double room: 426 €
• Double room for single use: 615 €

Low season (from September 1 to June 14)

• Quadruple room: 355 €
• Triple room: 383 €
• Double room: 410 €
• Double room for single use: 495 €

Surfing course 

The course includes 8 hours of lessons (4 lessons) in the water during the high season and 12 hours of lessons (6 lessons) during the low season.
During daily lessons of two hours, the students will be followed according to their surfing level.
After a short theoretical lesson, we move into the water.

RENTAL OF EQUIPMENT

It is possible to rent the equipment for the whole day:

• Shortboard: 20 €
• Longboard: 20 €
• SUP: 40 €
• 4,3 mm wetsuit: 20 €
• 2,2 mm wetsuit: 20 €

EXCURSIONS IN THE SURROUNDINGS

• During your stay, for fans of sport, sea and nature, but also for those who want to relax, there is the opportunity to participate in boat trips, canoeing and SUP, snorkelling and fishing. But not only sea, also various trails on the ground, such as horse riding trails hiking, cycling but also 4x4 tours or simple walks nearby and on the beach. Find out more about this LINK.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Low season

• up to 30 days before the arrival date no penalty will be applied
• from 29 to 15 days before the arrival date will be retained the deposit and applied an additional penalty equal to 30% of the entire package booked
• from 15 days to 7 days before the arrival date will be retained the deposit and applied an additional penalty equal to 50% of the entire package booked
• from 7 to 0 days before the arrival date will be charged a penalty equal to 100% of the entire package booked

High season

• up to 60 days before the arrival date no penalty will be charged
• from 59 up to 40 days before the arrival date will be retained the deposit and charged an additional penalty equal to 30% of the entire package booked
• from 39 days up to 20 days before the arrival date will be retained the deposit and applied an additional penalty equal to 50% of the entire package booked
• from 19 to 0 days before the arrival date will be charged a penalty equal to 100% of the entire package booked
