An experience of two days really unique and full of charm, among the natural wonders of central eastern Sardinia.
In the territory of Cala Gonone, accompanied by our expert guide and local shepherd, you will visit the cuiles, or traditional shelters of the Sardinian mountains, where people still live as they did more than a hundred years ago. At dusk, you will be involved in the preparation of a typical Sardinian dinner based on local products and, arrived at night, you will live again a magical moment: in your bed in the middle of nature, you will be immersed in an archaic world. The next morning, a breakfast with zero km products will be served and then you can leave to explore the territory again, away from the daily routine.
Near the sheepfold there is a small bathroom with toilet and sink (there is no electricity, so you need to bring a torch that is also made available by the shepherd if necessary), while the shower with water at room temperature is outside.
At the extra cost of € 10 you can select the rental of the sleeping bag sanitized for the night, to be added to the price per person during booking.
The typical Sardinian dinner will be prepared with local products: hors d'oeuvres based on cold cuts, goat’s cheese and Casadina (typical savory cake with fresh cheese and mint), second course based on roast pork (in case a minimum number of 6 people attended the dinner) or goat skewers, seasonal vegetables, fruit, sweet, water, wine and coffee.
In case of food intolerances such as celiac disease and lactose there are alternatives, but you must promptly contact the telephone number on the booking voucher.
