Discover the fascinating world of truffles with an authentic excursion in Laconi, in the heart of Sardinia!
In the splendid scenery of the Sarcidano woods, you will be guided by our expert truffle hunter and his loyal trained dogs in the search for this delicious mushroom. At the end of the search, you will enjoy a themed aperitif in the pleasant atmosphere of a traditional Sardinian pinnetto. 
Don't miss this unique experience, which will take you to explore unspoilt natural landscapes and genuine flavours.

IMPORTANT

  • This experience is not suitable for people with mobility disabilities.
  • Participants will have to move with their own car from one place to another.
  • The road is mainly unpaved, but in good condition.

PROGRAMME

  • Meeting with the guide and transfer to the forest
  • Truffle search of approximately two hours
  • Transfer to a traditional shed
  • Lecture on the history and techniques of truffle hunting
  • Aperitif

TRUFFLE

The types of truffles vary depending on the season: from May to September the black truffle is harvested, while from November to March is the period for the white truffle.

APERITIF

The aperitif includes appetizers with fresh local products, such as bruschetta with truffle cream, cold meats, cheeses, fruit mousse and vegetables in oil, accompanied by two glasses of wine, soft drinks and water. 
The aperitif may vary depending on the seasonality of the truffle and raw materials.
Options for coeliacs and solutions for vegetarians and vegans are available upon request to the number on the booking voucher at least 24 hours before the experience.
